No. You’ll be fine. If it looks red or irritated, you do need to see the doctor though. But you don’t have, won’t get rabies.

Question by *Miss_Autumn*: Pet memorials at your wedding?
I thought I’d heard of everything until I read this on another wedding site. I completely understand that pets are considered family but who seriously would do something of that nature at a wedding? And why? I personally don’t get the concept of memorials at weddings at all, but to each their own. But isn’t memorializing a pet going slightly overboard?
Best answer:
Answer by D4Pres2012
well to some people a pet means just as much as their grandparents, who they would also remember during the wedding. but I think I would downplay it and maybe print it in teh programs as opposed to lighting a candle in memory of my dog or something.

Question by Buddha13: How many pet owners actually learn how to take proper care of their pet before getting one?
So many questions in “Pets” are very basic pet care questions. For instance, the time to ask about your dog having puppies is not when she is delivering them – maybe you should have learned what to do months ago when you realised she was pregnant.

Yes, I was quite ignorant before also.
I used to feed my dogs Beneful, one of the worst foods, and would just load them up with treats. Since then, I now feed them Evo, a top quality dog food, and walk them everyday.

We often treat cats in our house as our children or as a normal human being. We are so closely attached with them that it hurts a lot if anything undesirable happens to them. Picking up after them, feeding them, bathing and caring them become part of our daily routine. We certainly miss this routine once they leave us and walks to the path of heaven. The best way to come out of this grief is by honoring the memories of your cat that he shared with you when he was alive.
In order to honor his memories you can build pet memorials for your beloved pets and store their remains in the vessel. You can place them inside the house where your cats used to spend most of their time, or you can also burry them in the backyard beside a tree or so.
Another reason why the pet owners choose to cremate these cats in a natural way is because they feel by doing so their soul will rest in peace. You can find a variety of pet urns available in the market depending upon the size and personality of your cat. I personally like the Resin cremation pet urns which are a form of plastic. As such, they can be formed into any shape that you wish. Popular shapes include dog bones, balls, or fire hydrants. You get to choose the shape that best defines your pet, and these pet urns do a great job at holding the ashes.

If you are thinking your dog is the only one suffering from the separation anxiety? Well let me tell you that you are not alone. In fact it is a very common problem found in dogs, although every dog won’t react and will display his anxiety in the similar fashion but most of the times the symptoms are common.
Following are the three common symptoms of seperation anxiety in dogs:
Barking and Whining of your dog:
Have you ever experienced neighbors yelling at you when you reach back home and telling you about your dog barking and whining all the day when you were not at home. I am sure you must gone though this once. Your dog must have shown the signs of anxiety before you left the house, but since you neglected it the level increases gradually. If you are living in a Pent House then its ok! But if its an apartment then it’s a big problem all together.
Digging, Scratching, Chewing:
Found all your Sofas and furniture scratched by your dog when you returned back home, well this is the secondary level of anxiety in dogs. Somehow your dog feels insecure in the closed rooms and tries break the barrier by Scratching, Digging or even by Chewing things. Your dogs get physical in this stage in order to reach to you.
Over Excitement:
Closely administer the behavior of your dog once you return home. If you find him licking and greeting you excessively then it’s a sign of separation anxiety. Not all dogs will behave like this but these are certainly one of the most commonly found symptoms. You need to be very careful while treating this problem as it can affect the healthy relationship between you and your pet dog.

Remember the first time that you bought your pet home. The smile that the pet’s innocence brought to your face. The love and care that you showered on him and vice-versa. It doesn’t take a moment for them to become a part of the family. They have almost a celebrity kind of status in the household. Similarly the pain and the grief that engulfs you once you lose them are unbearable.
You can either just do nothing about it or show your love for your pet by getting a memorial. You can buy a burial spot for your pet and have a headstone as well at that place. Another way to have them close to you and have their memories right in front of you is to have an urn. The pet urn containing the remains of your beloved pet will only etch their memories in your heart forever. The grief will subside eventually. Pet cremation has also become the first choice for a lot of people as they feel their pets will be closer to them.
If you are in the market for buying pet memorials you will see that there are plenty of options to choose from. You can buy one that goes along with the already existing decor of your house. You can also buy one that is custom made with the picture and name of your pet; you can also engrave some words on it. Doing this will make you feel even more happy.
No one can ever take the place of your pet and so even after have passed away; they will always be a part of your family and a part of your life since they have given them a space, the love, the honor that they deserve.
