They want you to think you're crazy. You really DO need tests to rule out anything horrible (I'm not saying Fibromyalgia ISN'T horrible, though). The swelling under your ears and jaw, especially if it's tender there, too, sounds like your body trying to fight off an infection. I said SOUNDS LIKE! Could be swollen lymph nodes. You may also feel tender lumps under one or both of your arms (armpits), and in the groin area. The scabby sores, well, I'm not a doctor either, but it really does sound like your best bet would be to go to a doctor, or a health department in or near your town to be checked out. Could be something simple, like you scratched your ears during the night and are just continuing to pick at what you messed up during the night. Have you cleaned your ears lately? Sorry, just kidding. Seriously, go to your doctor, that's what he spent years in school for, he should be able to get to the bottom of it all, and at least ease your mind some, and even lighten your wallet in doing so!
